Goldfields Arts Centre

The Goldfields Arts Centre is the only multi-functional arts venue in the Goldfields region and one of only three A Class Art Galleries in regional Western Australia. It was opened in November 1993 and has become a part of Kalgoorlie's landscape and lifestyle. The Centre was built by Kalgoorlie College, which later became a part of Curtin University of Technology. The University continues to own and manage the Centre.

The Goldfields Arts Centre Gallery supports local and regional artists with a variety of items for view and sale. Gold nuggets in a lovely dessert wine can be purchased along with some unique jewellery that has been created by some well known local jewellers. Our range also includes affordable ceramics, scarves, indigenous artefacts and artworks. The Goldfields Arts Centre Gallery is open from Monday to Friday: 10:00am - 3:00pm, Saturday Closed, Sunday 12noon - 3:00pm. Entry is by a gold coin donation.
