Explore Kalgoorlie- Boulder’s first gold mine. Travel 36 metres underground, let our guides lead you through the tunnels where once the sounds of picks, shovels and wheelbarrows formed the heartbeat of the mine. Back on the surface, you can witness a gold pour demonstration and try your hand at gold panning.
The Mining Hall of Fame is a national monument! The Hall of Fame recognised the individuals that have made this industry so important to our nation. Interactive galleries take you on journeys of mineral discovery and the beautifully presented Minerals Gallery showcases one of the finest collections of minerals in the world.
The chinese Garden of Remembrance pays tribute to those that have immigrated to Australian shores due to the fame of our minerals industry. This garden has become a delightful place for picnics and weddings.
