Visit Historic Boulder
Historic Boulder
Boulder was named after the famous Golden Mile Mine, the ‘Great Boulder’, which was pegged in 1893. No longer will you see a skyline covered with wooden poppet heads, but you will still experience the warmth and friendliness of that special brand of people who have made Boulder their home. Visitors can take a self guided walk down Burt Street and Piesse Street (the original main street) to see Boulder attractions. Bustling Burt Street is the main street in Boulder.
