Let born and bred Kalgoorlie local Noel Gerrard show you through the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club museum. Since the 1970s, Noel's been involved in collecting and salvaging treasures that tell the story of the region's rich horse racing history. Get yourself Breakfast and a cuppa as you watch the Barrier Draw and then everyone is to be on the bus by 9.25am. Then, it's time to hit the road and gallop over to Coolgardie, known as the Mother of the Goldfields. Immerse yourself in history at the Coolgardie Museum and Warden Finnerty House, all while savouring homemade scones and refreshing lemonade. Hold onto your horses as we take a thrilling detour to Kunanalling, a place steeped in history as one of the pioneers of electrified hotels in the Goldfields. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for quirky landmarks like a fishing boat, a mermaid tail, and a dog in gumboots. Prepare to be captivated by the ruins of the infamous Ora Banda Hotel, a town with a past as intriguing as it is mysterious. But wait, there's more – satisfy your appetite with the legendary Broadie Burger at the Broad Arrow Tavern, a testament to the golden days of mining. Fuel up like a true champion before we wrap up the day's adventures. We expect to arrive at Broad Arrow around 1.30pm. There will be snacks and water on the bus to tide you over till lunch. And just when you think it couldn't get any better, we'll take you to the Mt Charlotte Reservoir Lookout.
