‘What Used To Be’

Join us for a Trip down memory lane in Kambalda

Date: Saturday 12th June

A 20-seater bus will pick up you up at 9.30am from Centennial Park (Hannan Street) to travel to Kambalda with a drive around town to start the tour.

At approximately 10.45am you will arrive at the Kambalda East town square for a brief history and leg stretch.

Then we will head on up Red Hill for a brief history of this picturesque icon; bring your camera for a great photo opportunity.

If you would like to walk the a 300m Red Hill trail, wear enclosed shoes.

Next you will be driven to the Kambalda Arts Centre around noon for a delicious light lunch. Tea and coffee are provided too.

During lunch you will meet up with local Kambalda Artists to chat and take a tour of our Arts Centre, view the art, historical pictures and herbarium.

After lunch we will head out to the Kambalda West Memorial Gardens for a brief look at the community time line mural and a look around, before heading back on the bus for the drive home.

We would love to have you out here in Kambalda and network with you regarding what we are all doing and share our stories, how we all strive to achieve.
