Building characters and sparking stories –
Author and Improv coach, SJ Eeles is running two school holiday workshops using game play, improv, and writing jams to explore curiosity and imagination and build storytelling skills. Workshops involve playing a series of imagination-based games and writing exercises to create bold new characters and inventing creative new stories. Workshops are 1hr 15 min, comfortable clothes recommended, everything supplied.

1st Session - 9.30am 8-11 years
2nd Session - 11.00am 12 -17 years

Max 15 participants per session

ABOUT THE PROJECT

130 Women aims to explore the contributions of local women to the place and society we live in today.

This Goldfields Women's Health Care Centre project, led by four local artists will work with the community through a series of residencies and community engagements to create a collection of works recognising women from our local history.

These women's stories will be told through written and spoken words complimented with various visual art forms. The collaboration of artworks will be presented to coincide with the 130 year anniversary of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in 2023.
