Visitor Information Centre

Kalgoorlie Boulder Visitor Centre (KBVC) is the largest, fully accredited, not-for-profit Visitor Centre in the Goldfields. It is the hub and gateway for tourists and visitors to the greater outback region. We pride ourselves on being a progressive, innovative and forward thinking organisation with a commitment to first class visitor servicing, and encourage visitors to explore everything the Goldfields has to offer. Our primary role is to assist tourists with local information, tours, travel and accommodation bookings, customer service and advice. In addition to this, the centre also promotes and markets the City and Goldfields region through various campaigns, both on and offline.

Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Award winning customer service and information

  • Promotion of local, regional and state businesses and attractions

  • Bookings of accommodation, tours and transport, both in house or online

  • Retail sales, both in house or online

  • Destination marketing, digital marketing, advertising and business promotion

AFTER HOURS INFORMATION

A 24 hour illuminated display box is located outside the Visitor Centre on Hannan Street, with street maps and what's on attraction guides. Accommodation listings are provided on our front glass doors. An optimised website with a full What's on Calendar of Events and local information are also available.

 

INFORMATION BAYS

Information Bays are positioned at the three main entrances into the City, which include a large feature map of the City layout, amenities, emergency phone numbers and upcoming events.
