Blue Tree Project presents an afternoon to unpack mental health in a new and inspiring way. Hear from the heavy hitting speakers and build on your resilience. Come for the banter, listen to the inspiring and stay for the food and drinks!
Soa Palelei - A former UFC fighter and more popularly known as Soa “The Hulk” is now known for his work in the mental health and family violence space after retiring from a long and successful career in the Octagon.
Kendall Whyte - Founder of Blue Tree Project, a grass-roots charity, making an impact across Australia. The mission of Blue Tree Project is to help spark difficult conversations and break down the stigma of mental health, by giving dead trees ‘a blue lease on life’. Recently awarded 2022 Young Australian of the Year for Western Australia
Craig Hollywood - Western Australia’s Local Hero for 2022. He is the Founder of the volunteer-led for purpose organisation Short Back & Sidewalks, a group that provides positive connections and breaks the stigma attached to vulnerable members of the community across Australia, one free haircut at a time.
Ben Broadbridge - Founder of ‘Beyond All Bounds’, an organisation focused on delivering the Mental Health First Aid course to the greater community. Ben’s vision as a Master Instructor, is to provide education for people who wish to be better equipped to assist someone experiencing a mental health problem, in turn assisting in the reduction of Australia’s suicide rate.
