Join us for LOOKING FORWARD / LOOKING BACK, a free evening of poetry at Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s Museum of the Goldfields ...
On Saturday, April 15 a collection of Western Australian poets and writers will gather to share poems from a call-for-entries inspired by the Museum's historic Dwyer & MacKay Photography Collection. Dating back to the late 1800s, the collection includes almost 10,000 photographs that span five decades of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s rich and vibrant history.
Twelve poems have been selected from the submissions to be read on on the night with the winning poem from both the Adult and Youth categories also being announced. Refreshments will be served with live music from The Natalie D-Napoleon Trio.
