A man returns to Australia after years in the US to buy back his childhood family home.  However, his plans take a dark turn when he is humiliated in front of his teenage son by a group of territorial local surfers who claim ownership over the beach where he once surfed. Determined to stand his ground, he refuses to leave, leading to a psychological battle that pushes him to the edge of his sanity.
