Join us on 13 & 14th August 2025 for two exciting days of science fun at the STEM Festival 2025, coming to Kalgoorlie this National Science Week!

Hosted by The Kids Research Institute Australia, this free family-friendly event features interactive displays, hands-on experiments, and engaging activities designed to spark curiosity in kids of all ages.

Day 1 (13 August) offers a vibrant Community STEM Festival afternoon with activities like UV bead experiments, sugar comparisons in drinks, and microscope exploration.

Day 2 (14 August) features pre-booked workshops, including the popular Delicious DNA session where kids can extract DNA from everyday foods. Meet passionate researchers and scientists from The Kids Research Institute and local organisations including  Curtin University, Gold Industry Group, Kalgoorlie Museum, and Engineers Australia.

Time: Day 1: 3:30pm – 5:30pm (Community session)

Day 2: 3:30pm – 4:00pm and 4:15pm - 4:45pm (Workshops – registration required)
