In Awakening, Jose Bacarreza invites viewers to cross the threshold between the visible and the imagined.  His paintings unfold like dreams suspended between ruin and rebirth - where an abandoned car becomes a garden, a sleeping figure guards celestial eggs, and nature itself awakens as consciousness.  Blending myth, memory and the Australian landscape, Bacarreza paints not what is seen, but what is remembered and felt - the moment when light, matter and spirit meet.

All artworks will be available for purchase throughout the exhibition.

The exhibition is free and open to all community members.
