The Puntu Pirni Palya (PPP) project is by First Nations, about First Nations, for First Nations people, culture and language.
The project is for First Nations men aged 18 years and over to come along and create artefacts, or to simply sit for a yarn. It is a safe space for men. Like a mobile Men's Shed, there are tools and wood ready for artefact making. All resources are free and you own what you make, and can take it home.
Cultural Stewards are running the workshop and providing men with a place, time and opportunity to engage with traditional skills, and help other men too.
The truck and staff will be in Ninga-Mia from Monday 15 June - Friday 19 June, 2026, 8.30-4.30 every day.
The project provides:
-A fully portable artefact making workshop.
-free materials and resources to use.
-workshop coordinators to help you on your way.
