Escape to Coolgardie, Western Australia and create memories of a lifetime. Let our experienced guides teach you all there is to know about gold prospecting and the history around you on our unique gold safari adventure.

ADVANCED BOOKING ESSENTIAL Your gold safari will be small and intimate which will allow you to make friends the Aussie way otherwise bring a friend along – either way, you’ll have the time of your life and hopefully find yourself a piece of the elusive WA Goldfields shiny!

Your very own unique gold prospecting adventure fully hosted. No experience necessary, full training provided including Trilobite Solutions, basic geology and where you can and cannot go! ... be advanced 12 months in a day! Otherwise, just have a great prospecting experience. Meet & greet in Coolgardie at Prospector Park Gold Safaris (PPGS) HQ, the gold safari will end in Coolgardie. Times are pre discussed and will vary with the confirmed itinerary, season, weather and prospecting locations.

ONE MUST OWN A DETECTOR OR HIRE ONE FROM PROSPECTOR PARK AT $80 PER DAY FOR A MINELAB GPX 6000.

Prospecting locations are either in Coolgardie, Kununulling, Jaurdi Hills or Bullabulling depending on ground and best prospecting suitability on the day.

Prospector Park travel's no further than a 100km return from Coolgardie with of travel on gazetted roads or clear assessable tracks. No bush-bashing required however, hire vehicles will breach bond restrictions on these roads/tracks.

All tours will have a safety briefing prior to your gold safari plus discuss the weather, the prospecting location which will be subject to current road conditions along with your physical ability being in a remote bush environment plus the ability of your tag-along vehicle. Solo's can be transported via our own 4WD vehicle on the day ex Coolgardie.

PPGS provides you experienced prospecting guides who are proficient with equipment and the environment presented. Prospector attending vehicles must have at least 12cm+ road clearance to chassis, 4WDs are preferred but not ALWAY essential.

You will need to obtain "Miners Right" from the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety before your gold safari and this must be done in person. Present your photo ID at either the Kalgoorlie, Southern Cross, Perth City DEMIRS or online. ... no miners right mean's no digging or detecting, even for spectators!

Our tours are and include: •Fun, excitement & experience. •Ethical & transparent local guides. •Detecting grid training session on targets. •Trilobite Application training inc' basic geology (pre installation required/optional) •Bush survival, risk management & navigation implemented. •We stock excess water, EPIRB & first aid. •Operating fully incident free since established in 2021.

2 NIGHT HOMESTAY SAFARI Arrive 4pm and Homestay in your van or camp at Coolgardie HQ and learn/brief around the bush Tv before heading out with a full day on the ground the following morning. Debrief the evening away before setting off on your next outbound adventure the following morning. $500 per couple. Miners Rights & detector essential.

3 NIGHT HOMESTAY SAFARI Arrive 4pm and Homestay in your van or camp at Coolgardie HQ and learn/brief around the bush Tv before heading out with 2 full days on the ground in 2 different environments to learn on. Debrief the evenings away before setting off on your next outbound adventure on the final morning. $800 per couple. Miners Rights & detector essential.
