You are warmly invited to experience the vibrant, large-scale works of Julie Breathnach-Banwait, whose practice is deeply rooted in bold colour and an intuitive dialogue with the landscapes that shape her. Through expressive gesture and rich texture, her paintings translate the emotional resonance of place, exploring themes of connection, memory and belonging. A bilingual artist, poet and Chartered Psychologist, Julie’s work spans visual art and literature, weaving together Irish cultural heritage with her lived experience in Australia. Her layered, evocative pieces invite viewers to pause, reflect and reconnect—with the land, with themselves and with the quiet beauty that surrounds us.
