From 1949 to 1955 over 10,000 migrants from Eastern Europe travelled to Australia on the ship, Anna Salen. Many made their home in the Northern Territory.

Since 2020 Amanda Lovitt, a Western Australian heritage researcher, and daughter of one passenger has researched over 9,000 of these passengers.

Come along and hear some of their stories and what drives her passion for this project.
