Blast off on a playful galactic adventure – hunt for hidden planets, match them in your passport and zoom over to reception to claim your stellar prize. Junior trail suitable for ages 7 and under. Senior trail suitable for ages 4-17. The trail includes activity stations: Make your own Boomerang. Create, decorate and design your very own returning boomerang to take home. Make and test your own NASA Mars Helicopter. Design, build and see if your mini chopper can take flight like on Mars. Sand Storytelling. Explore Aboriginal symbols and create your own stories in the sand through creative, hands-on storytelling. Space & Astronomy Collaborative Collage. Work together to create a giant artwork inspired by stars, planets and the universe to create a community collage story to tell. Flying Rocket Experiment. Build and launch your own rocket to explore the science of flight in a fun, hands-on experiment. Aboriginal Astronomy and Star Constellations. Explore Aboriginal star stories and discovery how constellations connect culture, Country and the night sky. Make your own constellation and explore under light. Space Explorers Photo Booth. Dress up and snap a selfie as you take command of your very own rocketship in space. Calm Zone – Take a break and relax in our cozy reading corner and sensory tent with a calm box. Read some space books or complete a space puzzle in the calm zone. This zone is perfect for winding down after an exciting visit.
