Brenda's first memories were of a loving white foster family, before she was suddenly returned to her Aboriginal family. Decades later, she feels disconnected from both parts of her life, so she goes in search of her lost foster family.  Along the way she uncovers buried secrets, government lies and creates deeper family and culture connections.
