Pious Edith & fiery Rose are neighbours with little in common. When Edith begins to receive scandalous, foul-mouthed letters, she is quick to blame Rose, who if found guilty may lose custody of her child. But a female police officer suspects something is amiss, & she endeavours to catch the real culprit.
